Torture

I oppose torture. I think it's a bad way to get information when we need it. However, I, as a parent, am not above issuing the occasional threat of torture when necessary.

If we want to find Bin Laden, we can threaten anyone we have in custody with Bar/Bri. They will out him in a matter of days. Bar review is bloody murder hell when you've not been in school for a very, very long time.

MS used it to study for the VA bar (after we'd moved here) while we were awaiting the arrival of MM. He took the bar when MM was 2 weeks old.

Relax, study as much as you can stand, and go with it. You are super smart and have an excellent analytic sense. You're going to do great!

Osama Bin Laden has passed the bar in every state he has taken it.

Not really, but just a little motivation to make you hate him more.

Bar/Bri time? Got the stuff. E-mail me. Seriously.

hi! just wanted to send some solidarity vibes along from california! my second bar experience was in S.C., where we lived for a few years. gah, the lectures... it will be over soon.

the only possibly useful tip i have is notecards for stuff you are afraid you might not remember. [it helps me to write things down.] i was obsessive about notecards when i took my first bar, and kept paring them down. so, a couple days before the exam, i went to get coffee and someone stole my dozen or so current note cards from the law library carrel! and i just ended up laughing -- those were the things i worried i wouldn't remember, and they wouldn't be much use to someone who wasn't me! plus, i remembered most of what was on them.

that is my embarassing and encouraging bar exam story of the day. good luck!!
