Why we won't get taken seriously....

Women don't even take themselves seriously, so why on earth would we expect the male-dominated business and political worlds to do so? In flipping through the local rag today, I came across an article in the Living section about Hillary Clinton's cleavage. It first appeared in Friday's Washington Post.

Pardon me, but since WHEN is the degree of cleavage shown by a tastefully-dressed woman remotely relevant to the discussion of the issues in the upcoming Presidential election? I mean, if she were running around letting her ta-tas hang out, then sure - fair game. Thank you, Robin Givhan, for reminding me that we wimmins need to be concerned about flashing our boobies appropriately moreso than discussing the issues. Really, what the hell are we doing out of the kitchen anyway? How can we raise babies if we're off WORKING and stuff?

I await articles addressing how John Edwards and Barak Obama can both rock a tailored suit, because they can.
